New Year's Run Setlists: So Far

Last night (12/29) I saw The Motet and Pnuma Trio at Cervantes in Denver. Motet opened. I like the Motet better than Pnuma; had a good time but would have liked to hear more Motet. A solid show but nothing out of the ordinary. There are so many musical options this weekend leading up to New Year's in Denver and Boulder that it seems to be splitting up the crowds a bit. Lots of shows pulling people in many directions and no electric excitement about 1 show over the others.

The buzz so far with the other runs (Bisco, STS9, Panic) seems to be the following:

-Bisco played a great show on 12/29, other shows have gotten mediocre reviews.

-STS9 has played 2 solid shows, most are digging the lights, Murph looks like shit. (Remember to watch the webcasts at Iclips.net)

-Panic brought the house down for the few lucky people that were able to get in last night, we are anxiously awaiting the tapes.
